APS: Announcement — Join Free Webinars on APS and Peer Credentialing, May 6-7

April 30, 2014 by Chris Liu-Beers

The Academy of Peer Services is an online university to promote the skills and competencies of people with lived experience who work in the mental health field in NY.

Two upcoming trainings will be offered to help orient individuals to the APS certification. The first, on May 6, will be a repeat of the webinar that was held on March 5, and will answer many of the common questions we have received.

The Academy of Peer Services is only one part of becoming a certified peer specialist in New York State. This training will also address the other components required for full certification as well as the ongoing continuing education renewal process. Join on May 7 to learn more about other components to peer certification.
