EVER Changing World: 4th International Conference
Over the last several years the Institute for Community Research and Training at the College of Saint Rose has participated in a conference held in the Netherlands that focused on the recovery and reintegration of persons who live with mental health issues. Dubbed the Experts Conference this event highlighted programs and projects from the United States and Western Europe.
This year we are bringing the Experts Conference to the United States.The conference focus has expanded to explore the role of the peer support movement in diverse countries as well as for those who come to the US and Europe as refugees and immigrants. Speakers include those working in mental health, peer support, and/or with refugees and immigrants in Europe, Africa and the United States.
This exciting International exchange of ideas at the EVER Changing World: 4th International Conference that will be held on June 8 and 9, 2016 in Albany, NY on the campus of the College of Saint Rose. The campus is easily accessible by Albany International Airport, Amtrak, buses and by car.
The conference will open on Wednesday, June 8 at 1 PM with speakers and a reception followed by dinner. On Thursday, June 9 the agenda includes breakfast, speakers, lunch and ends at 4:30 PM.
