3 Top National MH Advocates Assess Current Federal Policy Picture at NYAPRS Virtual Annual Conference: Register Today!

September 8, 2020 by The Alliance for Rights and Recovery

NYAPRS Note: The  COVID crisis has put extraordinary financial pressures on community-based services for people with mental health and addiction related challenge, too many of whom are on the brink of deep cuts and/or closings. Nonetheless, Senate Republican, White House and House Democratic negotiators remain stalemated around extending essential relief funding to the states and localities. What can we expect in the coming weeks and what steps can we all take to push for an appropriate agreement?
This year’s NYAPRS Annual Conference offers us the opportunity to sit down with 3 of our most prominent national advocates to get their take.
The Conference, entitled “RISE UP! Community, Connection, Culture,” will be held during the days of September 22 and October 1 and the days and evenings of September 24 and September 29, 2020.

Don’t miss the panel’s presentation on September 22nd from 2:45-4:00  pm EST!

See the program below and register today at  https://tinyurl.com/y5s5935p.  Please note that, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, there’s no charge to register with the exception of those seeking Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, CPRP, and CRCC CEs.
