The Mental Health Empowerment Project is pleased to announce the first dates for our newly revised forensic peer support training: Trauma-Informed Peer Support for Justice-Involved Peers. This free, online series will run for four days, Monday, January 23 thru Thursday January 26 from 1 pm to 4 pm.
This training covers an introduction to trauma-informed peer support, an overview of the Sequential Intercept model, and ways that peer support can be provided through the five steps of the Sequential Intercepts.
