Register Below to GET ON THE BUS!

The Alliance for Rights and Recovery (formerly NYAPRS) invites you to Albany on March 4th for our 28th Annual Legislative Day—during which we will host, along with our friends at InUnity Alliance and the Association for Community Living, the largest rally of this session in support of an 7.8% increase for hard-pressed community agencies and their workforce! This is your chance to stand with advocates from across the state and demand action on the issues that matter most.

March 4th Legislative Day Highlights:

  • Rally for the 7.8% Rate Enhancement – We are calling on New York State to properly fund mental health and substance use agencies and their workforce to ensure people receive consistent, quality support from providers who can afford to stay in their jobs!
  • Press Conference Opposing Involuntary Treatment Expansion – We will raise our voices against proposed expansions of forced treatment and demand investments in voluntary services that support recovery, dignity, and choice.
  • Key Presentations – Hear from OMH Commissioner Ann Sullivan and key legislative leaders on the future of mental health and recovery policy in New York.
  • Meetings with Legislators – Advocates will have the opportunity to meet directly with state legislators to discuss key issues, share personal stories, and urge them to support increased investments in mental health and substance use services

Reserve Your Spot on the Bus to Albany!

Don’t miss this chance to be part of the movement for better funding, stronger services, and real change. Join us in fighting for fair wages for mental health workers and opposing harmful coercive policies that undermine recovery, rights and services that make lasting change!
Bonus! All attendees will be entered into a raffle for a full scholarship to The Alliance’s annual conference!
Let’s make this year’s Legislative Day the biggest one yet! See you in Albany on March 4th!
