On behalf of recovery and rights advocates across New York, I’m asking that your organization sign on to the attached letter that New York Lawyers for the Public Interest and NYAPRS will be sending to New York’s Senators and Assembly members, urging them to reject Governor Hochul’s proposals to expand the number and scope of forced outpatient commitment orders under Kendra’s Law.
Please email me by COB Thursday, March 24, listing your name, title and organization if you’d like to be included.. We will compile this information by Friday morning and send it to every Senator and Assembly member thereafter.
