The Alliance for Rights and Recovery (formerly NYAPRS) will be hosting a Forum in Binghamton for the Southern Tier Region Wednesday January 10th in preparation for our upcoming 27th Annual Legislative Day in Albany on March 5th! The Southern Tier Forum will be held from 11:00am-2:00pm at the Broome County Public Library’s Decker Room (185 Court Street, Binghamton, NY 13901).
Hear from local representatives including Nancy Williams, Broome County Social Services and Community Mental Health Commissioner, and state representatives Assemblymember Donna Lupardo and Senator Lea Webb.
Attendees will also have a chance to hear about The Alliance’s Advocacy goals from Harvey Rosenthal and Luke Sikinyi. Tell us about issues you have seen related to rights and mental health services at the regional level and learn about ways you can join our advocacy effort this year! We will also raffle a full scholarship to The Alliance’s annual conference!
