NYAPRS Note: There’re still a few days left to register to attend next Tuesday’s NYAPRS timely October 1st Albany Forum entitled ‘The Future is Now: Surviving and Thriving with Managed Care’.
The day’s program will offer timely opportunities to hear from state officials about the flexibility they will encourage by relaxing current regulations, to hear presentations from 3 “exemplars” from Arizona, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts who have found success in the managed care market place, to explore program development strategies for your agency and to meet and initiate conversation with Health Plan and BHO executives who will be on hand to learn more about how our field is preparing to work with them to make the HARP successful.
It’s clear that opportunities to meet and network with NYS Health Plans who are preparing to take over and manage our behavioral healthcare services are key to helping to position us for success in the Health and Recovery Plan environment that is coming!
Accordingly, we are very pleased to announce that we’ll be joined by the following organizations:
Health Plans: Amidacare, EmblemHealth, Fidelis, Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, Healthfirst, MVP Healthcare/Hudson Health Plan, MetroPlus, Monroe Plan, TotalCare and United Healthcare
Behavioral Health Organizations: Beacon Health Strategies, Community Care Behavioral Health, Magellan Health Services, OptumHealth and ValueOptions.
Tuesday’s forum will be led by NYAPRS program planners Edye Schwartz, Harvey Rosenthal and consultant Jackie Negri along with the Center for Health Care Strategies Vice President for Strategic Planning, Allison Hamblin.
This is your opportunity to be a part of the change of our lifetimes.
