Alliance Begins Regional Forums for Advocacy
The Alliance for Rights and Recovery is excited to announce our upcoming Regional Forums, bringing together advocates, providers, people with lived experience, family members, and local leaders from across New York to discuss the future of our behavioral health system.
These forums are an opportunity to learn about the latest state and federal policy and program changes, including recent developments affecting mental health, substance use, housing, and disability services. Attendees will also have the chance to share their experiences, concerns, and priorities directly with Alliance staff as we shape our advocacy agenda for the coming year. In addition, each forum will feature discussions with local providers and government leaders, including county directors of community services and other public officials, about the unique challenges and opportunities facing their communities.
