NYAPRS Note: Please click here for a copy of the advocacy priorities that NYAPRS members will be carrying next Tuesday at our Albany Legislative Day, along with a schedule of the day’s events.
Please note that we are providing a general script for legislative meetings on pages 3-4 to allow our members to draw on their personal experience and passion to introduce recovery concepts and the focus on community services to legislators and their staff. Given the short time we’re usually given in these meetings, we expect that many will refer legislative staff to issue papers for more details.
Thanks to all of you who have worked to fill so many buses and vans. Your passion will warm up this town next Tuesday and your orange colored hats will rule the day at the Capital. In appreciation for your efforts, we will be raffling off 2 free scholarships to our Annual Conference during the morning’s events. See you Tuesday!
