NYAPRS Note: Last week, ACMHA: The College for Behavioral Health Leadership, announced the release of a toolkit aimed at promoting an increased role for peer-run services: Peer Services Toolkit: A Guide to Advancing and Implementing Peer-run Behavioral Health Services. The guide was derived from discussions among 25 peer service leaders that took place at an Optum funded Seminar at last year’s ACMHA Annual Summit and from follow up efforts by principal author Patrick Hendry in conjunction with input from members of ACMHA’s Peer Leaders Interest Group.
ACMHA is sponsoring a webinar on the Toolkit that will feature Patrick and PLIG co-chairs and editors Tom Hill and Harvey Rosenthal on February 4th: see below for details.
