Kristin Woodlock has an enduring commitment to caring for people with significant life challenges and in running real programs that improve the choices and lives of people. Her experience ranges from delivery of direct care in Hospitals to executive operations and policy work at the County Government, State Government and Non-Profit Agency levels.
As both the Executive Deputy and Acting Commissioner of the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH), Kristin oversaw the largest public mental health system in the United States. She was a Crisis CEO for FEGS Health and Human Services, one of the County’s largest non-profits. FEGS delivered Behavioral Health, Developmental Disability, Care Coordination, Eldercare, Employment, Housing, Youth and Jewish Community Services. Kristin led FEGS through an executive leadership change, financial crisis and Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection. Under her leadership, the Agency safely and compassionately transitioned services for 125,000 people to other providers in six(6) month period.
She began her career as a Registered Nurse working in emergency medicine in Syracuse, NY.
