Call for Proposals
13th Annual Conference for NYC Working Peer Specialists At New York University’s Kimmel Center Thursday, July 18, 2019
The Peer Specialists Conference Planning Committee is currently seeking workshop proposals for the 13th Annual Peer Specialists Conference, which will be held at the NYU Kimmel Center on Thursday, July 18, 2019.
This conference is intended specifically for New York City Peers working in Behavioral Health and the Family and Youth fields who wish to enhance their skills and obtain new knowledge and information. This conference will stimulate a creative and critical dialogue about career development, practices in the field and trends in health care.
This year’s conference will be entitled “Setting Sail for Success: Charting Your Career Journey.” We are looking for proposals that reflect that theme.
We invite abstracts that reflect innovative national, state and local programs, practices, and initiatives that support the future development of the peer workforce. All workshops are 75 minutes.
Please see attached Call for Proposals for our title and theme and the Workshop Submission Template to submit your proposal. We look forward to seeing you at the 2019 conference.
Sincerely,
The Peer Specialist Conference Planning Committee
