“Vital Signs: Taking the Pulse of the Addiction Treatment Workforce”: Study Findings
Hosted by: ATTC Network Coordinating Office Our November 15th iTraining will present the findings from Vital Signs: Taking the Pulse of the Addiction Treatment Workforce, a national study of clinical directors and direct care staff conducted by the ATTC Network. This study, led by the ATTC Network Coordinating Office throughout the 2007-2012 ATTC funding cycle, adopted a mixed methods approach to identifying the demographics and professional background of clinical directors and direct care staff employed by Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment facilities listed in the Inventory of Substance Abuse Treatment Services (I-SATS). The study also identified successful strategies to prepare, maintain and retain SUD treatment providers in addition to the anticipated workforce development needs of the field over the next five years.
