SPECIAL EDITION: JUNE iNAPS eNEWS
NATIONAL STANDARDS – DRAFT OPEN FOR PUBLIC COMMENT UNTIL JUNE 21, 2013
The effort to create national practice standards for peer supporters has been underway since our last national peer support conference in Philadelphia last September. Since that time, we have worked diligently with an advisory group to gather information through surveys, focus groups, literature reviews and personal interviews to gain an understanding of the values peer supporters hold most dear.
With this June newsletter, we are announcing a ‘field review’ draft that is available on our website and open for public review and comment.

At the end of the draft, is a link to a survey for you to indicate if the document reflects YOUR values and the guidelines you would choose to follow in your practice of peer support.
Please forward this information to anyone you know who would like to contribute to this important project.
Also attached is the June issue of our Newsletter with information about the National Standards project and much more.
Live it up!
