Peer-to-Peer Tobacco Dependence Training

Attend this training to learn about an important Quit Smoking Program.

 

Come to a FREE 2-day training to learn a new program to help your fellow peers quit smoking!

Peer-to-Peer Tobacco Dependence Training

Registration Details

 

Registration:

  • You must register in advance. Registration deadline is January 20, 2012.
  • Bring a copy of your completed registration form with you to the training and a photo ID to get into the building.

 

Security:

  • You will have to check in at the security desk. Get here early so that you have time to wait at the security desk and get to the classroom on time.
  • You must show photo identification (such as a driver’s license) at the security desk.
  • After signing in, you will be directed to take the elevators to the 12th floor.

 

Training:

  • This is a two-day training. You must attend both days.
  • You will get a certificate of completion if you attend both days.
  • Breakfast, including coffee and tea, will be provided.

 

Directions:

  • Public Transit:
    • E, M, or R trains to Queens Plaza
    • 7, N or Q trains to Queensboro Plaza
      • exit on Southside and walk 2 blocks to 28th St.
    • G train to Court Square (5 block walk)
  • Driving:
    • Address: 42-09 28th Street, between Queens Plaza South and 42nd Road
    • When using a direction site like MapQuest include the zip code “11101” in order to find the correct location.
    • Parking is available in the building for $12 per day and other lots are available nearby.
