Media Request: Police Taser Use in NY State
Mary Beth Pfeiffer, a prominent investigative reporter for the Poughkeepsie Journal and nationally recognized author, would like to hear from individuals with psychiatric disabilities or diagnoses-or their family members-about experiences they have had with police in New York State involving the use of Tasers.
She would like to hear about the circumstances surrounding incidents, how well they believe police handled the situation and how the police might have better managed it. If possible, please email or call before Thursday, January 26.
