NYAPRS is pleased to announce the appointment of four new members to our Board of Directors at our most recent March 2nd board meeting. The newly appointed members are Daun Whittaker as the new Central NY Regional Coordinator and Co-Caucus Chair, Daniel Neal as Western NY Regional Coordinator, John Culligan as Hudson Valley Regional Coordinator and Theresa Hall as Co-Chair of the Cultural Competency Committee.
Each of them comes to NYAPRS with a strong commitment and passion which makes their contributions critical to our success. We thank them for giving of their time and energy to join our Board and to support the greater NYAPRS mission and community.
In our longtime tradition of forging strong partnerships between peers and providers in NY, we are particularly proud that our Board is represented by a rich mix of peer (52%) and non-peer members. This unique partnership has allowed us to maximize strong statewide support for our recovery, rehab and rights agenda for a proud history spanning the last 30 years.
