MHA in Jefferson Co Seeks Executive Director

Executive Director for Mental Health Association in Jefferson County (MHA)

MHA seeks an accomplished leader to serve this not-for-profit peer run agency with 15-20 employees. This is a full time exempt position. The Executive Director provides vision and hands-on direction in the development and implementation of MHA’s mission, policies, and Strategic Plan. The Candidate will ensure the agency continues to remain fiscally sound and deliver high quality programs and services. 

Qualifications include a Masters Degree in Human Service field plus 2 years Administration/Upper Management experience and overall minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a Human Services field. A LMSW or LMHC is preferred or willing to attain within a year of employment. Comparable education and experience will be considered. Successful leadership experience; experience working effectively with a Board of Directors; financial management skills; grant writing experience; employee supervision; mentoring skills; community involvement; and excellent interpersonal skills are essential. Salary is commensurate with experience and background. The agency offers generous benefits. Finger printing and background check is required. Equal Opportunity Employer
