Integrating addictions care is a challenge for many community health centers. This webinar will provide healthcare clinicians and staff working in primary care settings with an update on the disease of addiction and advances in the treatment and recovery processes, including the latest on the availability of medication assisted treatments (MAT). The speaker will discuss the relationship between mental illness and addictions and share real life experiences and lessons learned from an organization that integrated addictions care with primary care as it transformed from a community addictions program into a community health center.
