The presentation will offer a broad look at trauma including traumatic events, impact on the trauma survivor, implications for mental health peers and professionals, effective treatments and where to find further information.
This Webinar will be presented by: Janet Chassman, who was the coordinator of the OMH trauma initiative from 1995 to 2005. Since then, she has been the director of the Division of Children & Family Services’ Evidence Based Treatment Dissemination Center, which has a strong focus on treatment for youth receiving mental health services who have experienced trauma.
