Description: Join the Coalition for Whole Health for a webinar to gain an understanding of the Medicaid Expansion provision of the Affordable Care Act and its implications for those with mental health and substance use conditions. Suzanne Fields of SAMHSA will discuss the goals of the Medicaid Expansion and issues related to coverage of mental health and substance use services, enrollment, outreach, and potential “churning” between Medicaid and the Exchanges. Claudia Scholsberg of the DC Department of Health Care Finance will discuss their progress in implementation and considerations for new Medicaid enrollees in need of behavioral health care.
