“KILL IMMIGRATION REFORM”

Dear Friends –

The immigration bill (
http://www.schumer.senate.gov/forms/immigration.pdf ) is finally out.
We have much work to do to ensure we keep the good things, including
pathway to citizenship and no age cap for DREAMers, and also to keep
the harmful things out of the bill.

And the fight begins by ensuring we do not let anti-immigrant
Republicans stand in the way of passing immigration reform. Republican
Senator Jeff Sessions from Alabama has been an enemy to our
communities and opposes any immigration reform. He is aiming to kill
immigration reform just like he did when he voted against the DREAM
Act in 2010.

We have to stop him! And we have to ensure that other Republicans,
like Texas Senator John Cornyn, do not follow him. This coming week,
DREAMers from Alabama and Texas will be DC to confront Senator
Sessions and Cornyn to ensure they do not stand in the way of
immigration reform.

Call Senator Cornyn at 202-224-2934 and tell him to stand on the side
of families and not on the side of Senator Sessions

THIS IS IT! IT IS THE TIME TO TAKE ACTION AND MOVE FAMILY UNITY
FORWARD.

Much love,

Cesar Vargas
DRM Action Coalition Director

PS: Don’t forget to forward to your friends and family!
