NYAPRS is pleased to be a part of this year’s Employment Institute brought to you by the Inclusive Workforce Alliance. The Inclusive Workforce Alliance is a cross-disability stakeholder workgroup of 17 statewide advocacy organizations dedicated to improving employment rates of people with disabilities in New York State.
As a member of the Inclusive Workforce Stakeholders Workgroup, NYAPRS prioritizes a vision to eliminate the employment and earnings gap for New Yorkers with disabilities who are now three times less likely to be employed and earn only 75 cents for every dollar others are paid. The Employment Institute is a unique opportunity for our cross disability communities to come together, collaborate and learn about the key opportunities and challenges that we are facing when promoting our shared vision for employment and economic self-sufficiency in our communities.
