NYAPRS Note: As you know first-hand, things are happening fast and furiously here in New York State as we transition services for people with serious mental health issues from fee for service to managed care. Health Homes are up and running across our state, case managers are being asked to perform different functions as care coordinators, brief and targeted service provision is the order of the day and effective and efficient outreach, engagement and service provision have become central to who we are and what we offer. Join us as we hear from New York’s own Linda Rosenberg, CEO of the National Council for Behavioral Healthcare, an active leader on the National Health Care reform scene and always an advocate for improving our service delivery system. Linda will share with us, how National Healthcare reform is impacting us in New York and how we can use these challenges as opportunities for positive change.
As always, this special NYAPRS Member-only benefit will allow you to travel no further than to your phones and computers to hear Linda bring her national perspective on health care reform and the Washington advocacy that it requires, to her home state of New York.
