OMH Grand Rounds ‘The Future is in the Community’ Features Myers, Rosenthal

December 4, 2013 by Chris Liu-Beers

NYAPRS Note: OMH’s Medical Director Dr. Lloyd Sederer regularly hosts a monthy videocast for OMH physicians and other state and community staffers on a variety of topics. Below please find information and a link from OMH about the latest one, which featured Lloyd, OMH’s Bob Myers and Harvey looking at the direction state and national policy is taking us to promote recovery in the community.

Continuing Medical Education
Archived New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) Statewide Grand Rounds

Statewide Grand Rounds are sponsored by the New York State Office of Mental Health’s – Bureau of Psychiatric Services and Research Institute Support.

These recorded programs are from the OMH video library of Statewide Grand Rounds programs. These interactive videoconferences were previously broadcast live via satellite to OMH facilities. The programs on this site are selected videos of these statewide grand rounds and each is 1.5 hours in length.

Statewide Grand Rounds provide OMH physicians with skills and knowledge, based on the latest applicable research findings, relevant to the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of adults and children with psychiatric disabilities resulting from serious mental illnesses.

The topic and content of each program is chosen and developed with OMH psychiatrists and physicians in mind.

We welcome viewers from other mental health service systems and professions, and hope that these programs will be of benefit to you, as well.
