OMH: Free SSI/SSDI Training Long Island

December 6, 2013 by Chris Liu-Beers

Free SSI and SSDI Benefits Training from OMH
Myths, Tips, Tricks & How to Make It Work

Presented By:

New York State Office of Mental Health, Bureau of Consumer Affairs

Do you know how to help someone get benefits within 60 days?

Did you know Social Security Work Incentives help SSI/SSDI beneficiaries:

*Test their work and earning abilities?

*Earn money for training or college?

*Earn money to start a business?

*Ease off cash benefits and into self-sufficiency

*Did you know you can work (even full-time) and maintain low cost (or even no-cost) medical insurance?

*Do you know about expedited reinstatement of benefits?

*Did you know you can ask for a waiver if Social Security mistakenly over pays you?

* Did you know you can get paid for helping someone get back to work?

Even if you answered YES to any of these questions,

you will benefit from this intensive two day

interactive training.

Here is the catch: All Participants who register for this comprehensive training have to share the

information to help someone else obtain SSI/SSDI Benefits.

This training takes 2 days. Certificates will only be sent to attendees present both days.
