WE NEED TO FILL ANOTHER BUS FROM NYC FOR NYAPRS LEGISLATIVE DAY THIS TUESDAY!
NYAPRS is going up to Albany Tuesday, January 28. We have one bus with 55 open seats available leaving from NYC that we want to fill before the weekend!
Need more motivation to get on the bus to Albany? Two individuals who join us in Albany—from anywhere in the state—will be chosen at random to receive a scholarship to the 2014 NYAPRS Annual Conference! You must join us in Albany to be eligible, so sign up today!
One main push in NYAPRS legislative day this year is Community Reinvestment, moving money into the community for recovery supports like affordable housing, alternatives to hospitals, and peer employment in NYC. Over $180 million dollars is at stake for community services.
Bus leaves from 15th street and Union Square East, near Babies R Us in Manhattan, NYC. Closest trains are the 4,5,6 to 14th street or any train to 14th and the L train to Union Square. The bus leaves at 6:30 am sharp so please show up at 6:15 am or earlier.
As I have only one phone line, I prefer for people to make reservations via email. Please email me directly at crabinowitz@communityaccess.org . If email is not easily accessible for anyone, please call NYAPRS at 518-436-0008.
If you live in other areas of the state and have not reserved your seat on the bus, you must do so now! Contact your regional coordinator or the NYAPRS team to secure your place at one of the biggest legislative events in our history!
