Join Us and support a historic Crisis Intervention Team bill. This bill would pressure Mayor de Blasio to institute comprehensive training for police when they respond to people in crisis.
Too many mental health recipients have died in these police encounters. Rexford Dasrath, Iman Morales, Shereese Francis, Mohammed Bah. All were young people who died because the police lacked the proper tools to de-escalate crisis calls relating to those in acute emotional distress.
