NYAPRS Note: As NY speeds toward a managed, integrated delivery system, the potential health disparities for vulnerable communities becomes a more prescient issue. Tribal authorities in NY and other states risk being swept into a system unresponsive to cultural needs and preferences, problems in access to appropriate care, or ignorant of specific outreach and engagement needs. See the below announcement of funding opportunities for these community members and spread the word to potentially interested parties.
