The WRAP Facilitator Directory

offers connections with locally trained, certified and current WRAP Facilitators who can offer the evidenced based practice WRAP workshops in your community.  In order to be listed in this directory you must have completed the 5-day WRAP Facilitator Course offered by the Copeland Center or a current Advanced Level WRAP Facilitator of the Copeland Center. Further, listed WRAP Facilitators have maintained their refresher credits approved by the Copeland Center.  Registration costs vary. If you qualify to be listed in the directory,

Webinar: Intentional Peer Support

Please join us for an overview of Intentional Peer Support.  IPS is a way of thinking about and inviting powerfully transformative relationships among people.  By focusing on the tasks and principles of mutual support, practitioners learn to use relationships to see things from new angles, develop greater awareness of personal and relational patterns, and support and challenge each other in trying new things.   

Many people involved with WRAP have found IPS an invaluable tool for both their work and personal life. Learn more about this important and timely practice. Seasoned trainers from Intentional Peer Support team will be presenting this webinar.

Steven Morgan, Operations Manager

Steven Morgan has worked in peer support services for the past decade, during which time he has helped create and manage several peer-run and alternative mental health programs.  Steven has a passion for creating instruments of social change, a love of organizational development, and a belief in the transformative power of community.

Eva Dech, Training Manager

Eva has been involved in human rights activism and advocacy for over two decades. After years of developing and working within peer support, she came to believe the path to healing and recovery was through relationships, creating opportunities for empowerment, and building connected, inclusive, and supportive communities.

Copeland Center Executive Director part of SAMHSA Webinar Series

On May 20, Executive Director Matthew Federici presented in a SAMHSA webinar series called Expanding Behavioral Health Community-Based Crisis Response Systems. He presented an overview of Wellness Recovery Action Planning, with a focus on Crisis Planning and Post Crisis Planning. You can listen to the recorded webinar at the SAMHSA website.

The series of 6 webinars began on May 7, 2014 and will run every two weeks through July 14. These webinars will describe new and emerging crisis response practices across a continuum of need that includes pre-crisis planning, early intervention, crisis stabilization, and post-crisis support. In addition, the webinar series will explore the types of outcomes sought for different approaches, how these approaches are financed, and provide State and local examples.

Takeaways from this Webinar Series include:

*    Why do we need to expand community-based crisis response systems?

*    What are emerging practices to respond to crises?

*    What are model crisis response systems at the state and local level and how do they work?

*    What outcomes can we expect to get from crisis response systems?

*    What are costs associated with crisis response programs and how are they financed?

The Copeland Center Seeks Partner for 2015 Open Enrollment WRAP Facilitator Training

The Copeland Center partners with agencies, organizations, and educational institutions, and community groups to bring open enrollment trainings. The Copeland Center offers 4-6 open enrollment WRAP Facilitator trainings each year which we spread geographically throughout the US. These sites are chosen based on identifying partners as well as need and interest in any given area.

WRAP Facilitator Training is a Five-day intensive workshop. Objective: This seminar prepares participants to facilitate WRAP classes and equips them with the skills and materials to facilitate classes in your community and organization.  

If you are interested in a partnership, you’ll need a training space (2 rooms), some administrative assistance to lend us, and local marketing abilities to help us. In exchange the Copeland Center provides scholarship funding for participants from your organization.

The Copeland Center works with potential partners to find the best balance of what resources are available for the partner. We work hard to ensure a fair and mutually beneficial agreement is struck on both sides based on the on the ground the ground information that the partner provides.

The Copeland Center works with diverse facilitators from around the world and across the life span.  This gives us a unique ability to meet various needs in promoting wellness and tailoring workshops, coaching and consultations to help you reach your transformation goals.  The Copeland Center offers technical assistance in creating and maintaining WRAP Programs through in person visits, over the phone and via webinars on diverse topics.
