Call you Senator today!!
As we approach the 15th Anniversary of the Olmstead decision and the guaranteed right to live in the community, and thanks to your hard work and dedication, the New York State Assembly just went a long way to making Olmstead more of a reality than ever before by passing legislation sponsored by Assemblywoman Deborah Glick that would create an Advanced Home Health Aide and allow for full implementation of Community First Choice!!
But, the Senate may refuse to even vote on the bill!
The Senate has announced it will be in session today.
