Reimagining Children’s Mental Health Services
The mental health system in New York State is changing as we speak! Adult mental health services are transitioning to Medicaid Managed Care within just a few months, and children’s mental health services will transition by 2016. Child serving organizations have an opportunity now to develop a strategic plan in preparation for this new age.

Part I: What’s on the Horizon?

Description: A number of important changes are on the horizon for children’s mental health services in New York State. Donna Bradbury, NYSOMH Associate Commissioner, will present about the current state of children’s mental health services and important changes all child-serving organizations need to know. Learn how CTAC will provide supports to the full child-serving system in this transition.
Description: How can we prepare for these changes? This webinar will focus on helping child-serving organizations assess their readiness to adapt to these changes, highlight key areas in which to strengthen, and present some strategies for supporting the organization at all levels.
Part III: Understanding the New Menu of Services

Description: What is the ideal service mix for our clients? This webinar will focus on envisioning how children will be served in a new transformed system. Participants will learn about how to best utilize the proposed new menu of services to meet the needs of children and families and how to work with staff to provide them.
