NYAPRS Note: Join the free web seminar advertised below to learn more about the NYS Peer Certification Process, which is currently ongoing and particularly important as it pertains to the managed care transition. This seminar will be helpful for working and non-working peers who are interested in gaining more employment opportunity or an additional recognition of education and achievement.

This web seminar will provide an overview and step by step instructions on the peer certification process in NYS. There will be a special emphasis on how to properly fill out the application and what documentation will need to be provided to the certification board. A large portion of the webinar will be dedicated to question and answer. The presenter will be John B. Allen Jr. Director of the Office of Consumer Affairs at the NYS Office of Mental Health.  This web seminar will be recorded and archived for future use.
