Attendees will be vested in family-run and family-focused organizations, as well as child serving systems.  A maximum of 1200 individuals can be accommodated. These parties include:

  • Leaders, staff, and supporters of family-run organizations
  • Supervisors and administrators of family-focused organizations
  • States and county-level systems administrators

Description

This Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)’s Bringing Recovery Supports to Scale Technical Assistance Center Strategy (BRSS TACS) webinar will present collaboration in a new light-crossing sectors and prompting partnerships with other organizations, special interest groups, programs that serve similar populations, and even competitors.  Research, collaboration models, and approaches to building collaboration capacity, as well as tools and strategies for safely collaborating with other groups, will be offered to enhance the organizational capacity, reach, and program outcomes of family-run and family-focused organizations.

The purpose of this webinar is to provide family-run and family-focused organizations with new perspectives and tools to promote successful collaborative efforts.

Participants in this webinar will be able to:

1. Understand the importance of cross-system partnership and networking to family work;

2. Recognize the importance of relationship building to successful collaboration;

3. Identify effective approaches to initiating cross-interest partnership; and

4. Learn to use three simple self-assessment tools for developing and monitoring their network health and effectiveness in cross sector collaboration.
