MCTAC Training for NYC ADULT PROVIDERS: Integrated Managed Care Billing Guidance

NYAPRS Note: Below is an important in person training offered by MCTAC only for NYC providers or those who serve people who live in NYC. This training will go over in detail how to complete the managed care claim form, UB-04/837i?. It will include a field-by-field discussion of each Managed Care Organization’s instructions on how to complete the form, guidance on how to assure a clean claim submission, common mistakes we all make and solutions for avoiding them and discussion of timely claim submission. THIS TRAINING IS TARGETTED TO ALL NYC ADULT MENTAL HEALTH, SUBSTANCE USE AND HCBS PROVIDERS.  The training will be repeated for the rest of the State at a later date.

Training for NYC Adult Providers: Integrated Managed Care Billing Guidance

Join us for an in-person training on integrated managed care billing guidance and how to complete the managed care claim form, UB-04

?/837i?

, on August 7th in New York City.

 

This three-hour training will cover:

  • A field-by-field discussion of each Managed Care Organization’s instructions on how to complete the UB-04 billing form
  • Billing guidance for clean claim submission
  • Common mistakes and solutions 
  • Timely claim submission

 

All NYC adult mental health, substance use, and HCBS providers should attend this training.  It is also open to Managed Care Organizations, behavioral health electronic health records and clearing houses.

 

?This training is specifically designed for agency finance, revenue cycle and billing staff. (*Please note: this training will not address hospital-based inpatient services)

?.?

 

Two identical but separate training times will be offered: a morning session from 9 am – 12 pm and an afternoon session from 1 – 4 pm. Both will take place at the NYU Kimmel Center, Eisner and Lubin Auditorium (4th Floor), 60 Washington Square South, New York, NY 10010.
