Project Amp: The Role of Young Adult Peers in Preventing Youth Substance Use
Join us on December 16th to learn more about Project Amp: Amplifying Our Futures! Project Amp is a brief mentorship intervention for adolescents at low to moderate risk of substance use, delivered by young adult peers with lived experience of recovery. Using a Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) framework, Project Amp will be pilot tested in six communities over the next year. During the webinar, we will describe the creation and key ingredients of Project Amp. Together with presenters from Young People in Recovery and the Georgia Council on Substance Abuse, we will also focus on the role of young adult peers and community partners in launching Project Amp pilot sites.
