Experts, advocates, executives and policymakers will discuss the movement toward value-based payment and how behavioral health can play a role in this transformation. You will hear a broader vision for the movement to value-based care both nationally and at the State level. Respondents representing statewide associations and a national Managed Care Organization will discuss the value-added of behavioral health, the critical role it can play in helping the whole system in increasing value and achieving the goals of reduced hospitalizations. Panelists will also share how behavioral health providers can partner with FQHCs and hospitals to better prepare for a value-based future and how the behavioral health system will need to adapt to be sustainable in the long-run.
