On Wednesday, February 24th from 9:00 AM-4:30 PM, the SAMHSA/Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) National Advisory Council will meet at 5600 Fishers Lane, Conference Room 5E29, in Rockville Maryland. Please see attached for the meeting’s agenda.
Topics to be addressed include addressing behavioral health disparities, promoting quality care – particularly for people with serious mental illness – including programs such as Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics/Section 223 and Assisted Outpatient Treatment, and supporting the development of the peer workforce. Other program updates will be provided as well as an opportunity for public comment.
