NYAPRS note: Below is a link to a survey from OMH and OASAS that seeks to assure that those agencies that are designated as HCBS providers are currently able to provide the services they are designated for. They are offering an opportunity to put a particular HCBS service on “hiatus” if you currently cannot provide it but will be able to do so within the next year. Please fill out the survey by March 25 or you may put your designated HCBS status in jeopardy. See below for details.
Subject: Adult BH HCBS Designation Survey
To help the State facilitate more focused technical assistance for providers, and to ensure Plans and Health Homes are only referring to Adult BH HCBS providers who are prepared to deliver services, OMH and OASAS will be collecting feedback on provider readiness and contract status.
For designated providers not currently able to provide one or more Adult BH HCBS, but will be able to do so in less than one year’s time, the State will allow the provider to put the designation for that service on “hiatus”. Requests to place Adult BH HCBS into hiatus status will be captured in this survey. Once an agency claims hiatus status, they must notify NYS of their intention to activate the service(s) within 12 months, or the agency will no longer be designated for that service.
Please complete this survey regarding your agency’s contract status and intentions by March 25th, 2016. Failure to respond to this survey may jeopardize an agency’s designation status. The survey can be found at the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RPBRJSV and will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Please note this survey must be completed in one sitting and you will not be able to change your answers once submitted. You will have an opportunity at the end of this survey to make comments, ask questions and request technical assistance. Please make sure to submit the appropriate phone number and email address for your Adult BH HCBS clinical manager, as this contact information will be used to reach out to your agency. You may also contact us via email: OMH-Managed-Care@omh.ny.gov or PICM@oasas.ny.gov
