Steve Holmes
Steve is a New York treasure who has supported people with disabilities since 1970, most notably as the Administrative Director of the Self-Advocacy Association of NYS.
Inspired by self-advocates, over the years Steve has written many songs of self-advocacy and self-determination.
In recent years he has also written number of what he refers to as ‘songs of the soul’. Steve brought tears and laughter to an enthused group of attendees at last year’s
NYAPRS Conference, and is coming back to share his latest version of “HaHa and Soul,” a presentation with a dash of humor and regard for the power of humor, song, and soul in the work we all do supporting people with disabilities and each other.
NYAPRS is very pleased to offer the following CEU’s:
New York Association of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services, Inc., (NYAPRS) SW CPE is recognized by the New York
