NYAPRS seeks an experienced and energetic Office Manager to oversee essential agency functions and direct day to day administrative support to further essential agency and board functions and priorities. This is a full time position in our Albany office. The Office Manager ensures and helps oversee the provision of high quality staff, board, event, advocacy, web and webinar support, as well as communications, marketing and membership services. Training & Technical Assistance Facilitator
for the Western/Central New York Regions
NYAPRS is also seeking a Training & Technical Assistance Facilitator to develop and implement training to support Western and Central New York behavioral health providers to deliver person centered and recovery focused services within the ever changing environment in which we operate, as part of the statewide NYAPRS Training Collective for Recovery, Rehabilitation and Rights.
This position requires the ability to act independently, have experience in delivering formal training or leading groups and demonstrated ability to engage others in training and technical asisstance. This is a work-from-home situation with extensive travel required, primarily throughout the Western/Central region of New York State, but also outside the region. Lived experience with the Mental Health system and ability to use that experience to enhance training highly preferred.
Requirements include: GED or High School Diploma, BA/BS preferred, great oral and written communication skills and facility with computers and technical equipment. Position requires valid NYS driver’s license and your personal vehicle for traveling.
