CBO: Repeal bill would cut $880 billion from Medicaid

The CBO estimates that the House Republicans’ Obamacare repeal bill will cut $880 billion from Medicaid over 10 years. That figure is likely to terrify governors who rely on the federal share of the entitlement program for their budgets.
The GOP repeal bill would save another $673 billion by eliminating the ACA’s subsidies, CBO said. The tax credits in the Republican bill would cost $361 billion.
