In this virtual event, SAMHSA’s Bringing Recovery Supports to Scale Technical Assistance Center Strategy (BRSS TACS) teamwill share effective strategies for the inclusion of peer support workers in the behavioral health workforce.Peer support workers use their lived experience and specialized training toguide, support, and educate people in or seeking recovery.Peer support services are evidence-based practices that produce demonstrable outcomes with those who are served.Presenters will share tools that can help convey the benefits of hiring peers.
