Dear All,
The New York City Regional Planning Consortium (RPC) at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) invites you to attend our Bi-Annual Community Town Hall.
Date: Monday, October 16, 2017
Time: 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Location: Richmond University Medical Center,
355 Bard Avenue, Staten Island
Registration: nycrpctownhallSI.eventbrite.com
This event is free and open to the public.
Individuals currently receiving Medicaid are encouraged to attend!
Free lunch and mental health and substance use resource tables will be available starting at 12:00 p.m.
The NYC RPC has been formed with State support to monitor the transition of mental health and substance use services to Medicaid managed care. The Town Hall seeks to give the broader community the opportunity to learn about the RPC and give their input. The audience will hear from Dr. Ginny Mantello, Health and Wellness Director, Office of the Staten Island BoroughPresident, Dr. Gary Belkin, Executive Deputy Commissioner for Mental Hygiene, and a panel of RPC members about the status of the transition.
We would appreciate you sharing the attached flyer with as wide an audience as possible. If you would like copies of the event flyer mailed to your organizations, please contact: nycrpc@health.nyc.gov.
Additionally, we are excited to announce the launch of DOHMH’s new webpage dedicated to Medicaid behavioral health services, which includes brochures in eight different languages on the Health and Recovery Plan (HARP) and home and community-based services (HCBS).
