New Strategies and Partnerships to Support our Most Challenged New Yorkers: The Way Forward
NYAPRS 14th Annual Executive Seminar
April 19 & 20, 2018 Albany Hilton, Albany, NY
Our 2018 Seminar program will have a special focus on strategies to provide aid and support to people with the most extensive and ongoing mental health, substance use and medical challenges. These aims have become top priorities in New York and also at the federal level, with the recent launch of the Interdepartmental Serious Mental illness Coordinating Committee (ISMICC).
Accordingly, NYAPRS is very pleased to feature presentations at our April Seminar from ISMICC Chair Dr. Elinore McCance-Katz, first Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services for Mental Health and Substance Use and two ISMICC members: Pete Earley, Father, Advocate and Author of “Crazy: A Father’s Search Through America’s Mental Health Madness” and Elena Kravitz, NYAPRS new Director for Public Policy and Engagement
