Breaking: Federal Budget to Include Medicaid Cuts
The White House budget released earlier today will look for hundreds of billions of dollars in savings through changes to Medicare and by block granting Medicaid to the states, according to Politico.
Regarding Medicaid, the budget proposes to The administration wants to end Obamacare’s expansion, instead endorsing a plan to provide health care funding in block grants to states.
“The budget also proposes making it easier for states to move toward managed care, charge patients higher co-pays for emergency room visits and bolster requirements that Medicaid recipients show immigration status before enrolling,” the report added.
