NYAPRS Note: NYAPRS and our colleagues are accelerating our efforts to oppose a Senate proposal to carve $100 million ($200 million when federal share is factored in) from New York’s Health Home initiative which would eliminate key supports that more than 52,000 children and adults with serious mental health needs and/or chronic health conditions rely on. In numerous discussions with all relevant parties, we have focused our efforts as an advocate for vulnerable people who deserve the most responsive, supportive and effective service and coordination possible.
