TAKE ACTION TOMORROW MORNING
TO GET THE HUMAN SERVICES COLA IN THIS YEAR’S BUDGET!
With only a week to go, we need a huge call in drive tomorrow (Monday)
to make sure our 2.9% Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) is in the final budget agreement!
Further, we need to emphasize that the
only way to address the staffing crisis for ALL human service nonprofits is with an across the board COLA!
URGENT: Make 2 Calls First Thing Tomorrow!
State legislators will be meeting tomorrow morning to let their leaders know about their priorities, which must include the COLA!
Find out the name and phone number of your Senate at https://www.nysenate.gov/find-my-senator and your Assembly member at https://nyassembly.gov/mem/search/, call them at 9 am tomorrow morning and leave the following message
“I’m a registered voter from (your locality) calling to make clear that the
only way to address the crisis faced by ALL of NY’s human service workers is via a 2.9% COLA!
