NYC Peer and Community Health Worker Workforce Consortium: New Organizational Readiness Toolkit Available To Strengthen Support For Peer Employees
June 4, 2019
The NYC Peer and Community Health Worker Workforce Consortium focuses on the integration and support of the Peer and Community Health Worker workforce. To aid in this process, we developed a toolkit that addresses barriers to organizational readiness.
The toolkit is designed to meet the widely variant needs of organizations by presenting a customized toolkit according to self-assessment responses. The Consortium is excited about the doors that this toolkit will open for the peer and community health worker workforce.
We are grateful for the continuous input and expertise of our partners and colleagues, and for the reliable involvement of diverse stakeholder groups. Thanks to that support, our toolkit, which has evolved and advanced over time, is now available to visit online. We encourage you to consider how the toolkit can support your organization. Learn more by trying it out.
Here is how it works:
1. Go to the Needs-Based Toolkit online by clicking here
2. Assess how your organization is doing with practices that drive workplace integration.
3. View a toolkit that is immediately customized based on your assessment.
We are available to answer any questions or concerns that you may have about this resource, Workforce Integration of Peer and Community Health Worker Roles: A needs-based toolkit to advance organizational readiness.
